Hog Roast Experience
Dave has had over 30 years experience in the butcher's trade and has won over 250 awards for excellence. He began hog-roasting over 30 years ago and now also designs his own machines. With these skills you can be absolutely sure that the hog will be prepared, cooked and carved to perfection.

- Countryside Alliance award for 'Best Diversification' in the South West Region. Awarded at the House of Lords
- Taste of the West Awards - overall best meat product, pork and fresh orange sausage, awarded by HRH Prince Charles at a ceremony at his home, Highgrove House
- Devon County Show - supreme champion sausage
- Sunday Telegraph - voted best pork pie
- Sunday Independent - best pork sausage

Competition Judging
After many years entering sausage competitions, I am now pleased to have joined the judging circuit.
I joined the celebrity chef John Burton Race at the Devon County Show (2007) to judge the sausage competition. In 2008 I was pleased to judge jointly with Tom Parker Bowles.
