D.J. Haggett only uses the best Devon meat in their pies and sausages, which are guaranteed to be "extremely tasty". This quality is achieved and maintained by the meat being hung before use, a practice you won't find among the larger stores.

D.J. Haggett has won over 200 awards for pies, pasties & sausages and was most recently awarded for one of the top ten sausages in England by 'The Independent Newspaper'. "We believe that staying small is the key to maintaining a top quality service" says David Haggett. "We firmly believe in the best ingredients for our pies and sausages and take great lengths in selecting our suppliers". D.J. Haggett supports Westcountry Farmers, and the selected Devon Beef for the pies comes directly from local westcountry herds.
