Dave has had over 40 years experience in the butcher's trade, starting as a "Saturday boy" at 13, he went on to start his own shop in 1988. He has won over 250 awards for excellence. The following is a selection of his past achievements:

With David's award-winning home made sausages and burgers. We also make our own kebabs, lamb chops with mint sauce, chicken in garlic and butter and many other things.

Bronze £14 per head
  • Meat only on the BBQ: a choice of home made burgers/sausages/ marinaded meats and steaks.

  • The entire bronze package plus 
  • Rolls, white or brown, from a local baker

Gold £21.50 per head
    • The entire Silver packages plus:
    • A choice of 3 of our delicious homemade salads made using local Devon produce when possible.  For example:
    • Green leaf salad that includes: Radicchio, Oak Leaf, Cos and Lolo Rosso, served with homemade honey and mustard dressing
    • Local new potato and roasted red onions, bound with a creamy mustard mayonnaise
    • Hot new potatoes with a herb butter
    • Beef tomato and feta cheese with kalamata olive salad
    • Roasted summer vegetable, courgette, red onion and peppers with cous cous
    • Pasta and basil pesto salad
    • Beetroot fennel and orange salad
    • Mixed bean salad in a mint yoghurt dressing

Platinum £26 per head
    • This package really is the works! As well as having the entire Gold package it also includes:
    • A selection of 3 Devon handmade sweets, for example:
    • Strawberries with Devon clotted cream
    • White chocolate and raspberry tart with a berry sauce
    •  Dutch apple pie with Devon clotted cream
    •  Les Bavarois (sponge base, beautifully decorated - choice of dark chocolate, raspberry or orange with cream)
    • Hand made treacle tart or add a twist of either orange, pecan, or lemon, all with a Devon pouring cream
    •  Banoffee pie toffee or chocolate filling with fresh cream
