Ready Roasted & Self Catering Packages

If you wish to serve the hog yourself, or even fancy having a go at roasting it, details of our ‘Ready Roasted’ and ‘Self Hire’ packages can be found below.

We can also cater for smaller or larger parties and corporate events from 25 to 3000. We offer a fully bespoke service to suit your requirements. Please contact us for more details.

Self Catering

Option 1 £250
  • Hire of our 'easy to use' hog roast machine
  • Gas is included free of charge
  • Just hitch up and tow, no van needed
  • 'Ready constructed' - no dismantling
  • Full instructions given
Option 2 £425
  • As Option 1, but with a free range Devon hog.  The hog is also scored correctly by butchers for perfect crackling
  • Ready for you to begin spit roasting
  • If you would like the hog boned and rolled for easy roasting and carving, please allow an extra £45.00
Option 3 £375
  • As Option 2, but with a free range Devon lamb instead of a hog
  • All spiked and ready for roasting
  • We can also bone and roll the lamb for ease of cooking and carving, please allow an extra £30.00 
Option 4 £425
  • As Option 1, with a selection of 5 joints of local Devon meat: beef, pork or turkey
  • Each joint will serve 30 people. If you would like fewer joints please subtract £30.00 for each joint
  • Perfect for stag / hen parties

All of the above can be delivered for 1.00 per mile both ways, from Silverton Exeter (EX5) or you can collect.

Hog Roasts Ready Cooked

We can now provide a hog roast service using local free range pork and lamb cooked and delivered to carve yourself.

Option 1 £265
  • Half hog cooked (carve yourself)
  • Feeds approximately 60-75 people
  • We can also bone and roll the hog for easy carving. Please allow an extra £25.00
Option 2 £495
  • Whole hog cooked (carve yourself)
  • Feeds approximately 150 people
  • We can also bone and roll the hog for easy carving. Please allow an extral £45.00
Option 3 £450
  • Whole lamb cooked (carve yourself)
  • Feeds approximately 50/60 people
  • This also can be boned and rolled for easy carving. Please allow an extra £30.00
Option 4 £95 (per joint)
  • Devon joints of meat:  choose from: beef, pork or turkey
  • All boneless joints for easy carving
  • Feeds aprox 30 people per joint
